This is Your Library

The Library serves the entire University community by supporting and fostering teaching, learning, and research activities. Every user can contribute to making the Library a welcoming and pleasant place conducive to such activities. To this end, please:

  • Keep your voice down
  • Refrain from eating or drinking in the Library (except for the Academic Commons)
  • Switch your mobile devices to silent mode
  • Leave wet umbrellas outside of the Library or place them in provided plastic umbrella jackets before bringing them into the Library
  • Protect library books and other materials from mutilation and damage
  • Respect the rights of other library users

The Library has implemented a User Behaviour Policy to discourage undesirable behaviour.

Protect Your Personal Belongings

Although every effort is made to provide a secure environment, it is still important for you to be cautious. The Library will not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen items. Please refrain from bringing valuable items into the Library. Never leave unattended personal belongings such as wallets, purses, and mobile phones. In cases of theft, please make a report to the library staff on duty immediately.
