Dr. Daniel Lau's New Work "Ink Dance at Historic Relics" Released on HKBU Heritage
Dr. Daniel Chak-Kwong LAU (Associate Professor, AVA) just accomplished Part 1 and Part 2 of his new series of public performance of Chinese
calligraphy, entitled "Ink Dance at Historic Relics (古跡墨舞)." This work takes a critical view of historical and cultural issues, such as conservation and revitalization
of Hong Kong's heritage.
Part 1 : Eight-character-line Couplet in Big Characters (榜書八言聯)
This is a pair of monumental-scale calligraphic couplet, celebrating the
significance of the revitalized historic relic of Kai Tak Campus and its far-reaching educational impact.
Part 2 : My Poem (寫我心曲)
It consists of four lines of poem, highlighting some of Dr. Lau's most memorable moments on the campus.
