HKBU Library Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research


The Library is pleased to announce the launch of the HKBU Library Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research.

The Award, a cash prize of HK$3,000 to be given annually, will recognise an undergraduate student for a paper or project that demonstrates outstanding research skills using Library resources.

Criteria for selection are: use of a broad range of search tools; thoroughness of the research process; creativity in the use of resources; and accuracy and attention to detail.

Candidates for the Award will be identified through nomination by HKBU faculty.

The Library seeks nominations for the HKBU Library Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research.

Faculty members are invited to nominate up to five undergraduate students who have written outstanding research projects during the 2013-2014 academic year.

Any project that involves a research component and requires the student to make use of Library resources is eligible for nomination. Projects can be written in either English or Chinese. Honours Projects are not eligible for nomination, and we cannot accept projects for which students received remuneration.
