2016 HKBU Library Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research

The Award, a cash prize of HK$3,000, recognizes an undergraduate student for a paper or project that demonstrates outstanding research skills using Library resources.

Members of academic staff are invited to nominate up to five undergraduate students who have submitted outstanding papers or projects in AY2015-2016.

The papers or projects must:

  • Be authored by a single student
  • Be produced to fulfill a course requirement
  • Involve a research component which requires the use of Library resources
  • Contain a bibliography or reference list

Selection will be based on thoroughness of the research process, use of a broad range of search tools, creativity in the use of resources, and accuracy and attention to detail.

Please note, Honours Projects are not eligible for nomination.
