HKALL service has been temporarily suspended (Revised)
To facilitate the implementation of the new Shared Integrated Library System for the eight UGC-funded universities, the Hong Kong Academic Library Link (HKALL) service is temporarily suspended until mid-July 2017.
All HKALL loans are now due on 15 June 2017 (Thursday). Fines will be charged for HKALL items returned by borrowers after 15 June according to the Library Regulations.
Borrowing and lending services between the eight libraries will be maintained during the suspension period by the Interlibrary Loan service (for eligible users only). It is anticipated that the HKALL service will resume in the new system in mid-July 2017.
Eligible users for using the Interlibrary Loan service include: HKBU academic and equivalent administrative staff, instructors, support & research staff, and UGC-funded & HKBU self-funded postgraduate & undergraduate students. For those not eligible to use Interlibrary Loan and who require access to books from other UGC libraries during the suspension period, please contact the Circulation Counter of the Main Library in person or at 3411-7444 for assistance.
