You can try the free trial electronic resources on the library homepage at:

The Britannica Online Traditional Chinese Edition combine's Encyclopaedia Britannica's wealth of information and editorial expertise with detailed content on Chinese culture, history, and traditions.

- Approximately 80,000 comprehensive articles from the full Encyclopaedia Britannica database that can be searched in Chinese or English
- Over 11,400 photos, tables, lines arts, and maps
- 200 audio clips, videos, and animations

2. RefWorks on CSA

(Trial period: until 31st March 2004)

RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. You can use these references in writing papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography.

To try RefWorks, please go to the "User Login" page, and then sign up for an individual account.

Note: Please be reminded that data stored in the personal database on RefWorks should be exported to the local hard disk before the expiry of the free trial period.

3. EndNote

EndNote provides a simple way to search online bibliographic databases and retrieve the references directly into EndNote. It helps to store, manage, and search for bibliographic references.
It also formats citations in your Microsoft Word document.

To try EndNote, you need to download the trial version from EndNote Web site. It allows you to have one month trial.
