"Electronic Resources Academic Library Link" (ERALL) : a collaborative proposal to expand ebook purchasing in all UGC-funded libraries

As the result of the collaborative efforts amongst the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee members, the Library can now access to thousands of e-books through the ERALL, a project funded partially by the UGC Restructuring and Collaboration Fund for 2005/06. More e-books will be acquired by the ERALL Consortium in 2007/08.

Blackwell Reference Online

More than 260 Blackwell e-book titles are added. Subjects include history, language and linguistics, literature, philosophy and religion, sociology and psychology, and business and economics.

Springer eBook Collection

Over 5,000 e-book titles on various subjects from Springer are added including the Lecture Notes series in computer science, mathematics and physics with unlimited simultaneous access. By 2007, users will be able to access over 8,500 e-book titles.

Wiley InterScience Reference Works

A total of more than 210 volumes of nine Wiley Encyclopedia titles are added to the e-book collection. Covered subjects include life sciences, polymer science, statistical sciences, statistics in behavioral science, telecommunications, biomedical engineering and electrical and electronic engineering.
