TelePresence now available in Library Learning Commons
We are pleased to announce the availability of a state-of-the-art technology solution for getting technology help in the Library Learning Commons! The new TelePresence system will connect users in a virtual "face-to face" interaction with our IT experts at the ITO HelpDesk. Questions or problems related to hardware, software, and other technology topics can now be answered without having to physically go to the ITO HelpDesk. You can even connect your own computer to the TelePresence system to enable screen-sharing, allowing ITO staff to see your screen and guide you through any steps you might need to take.
Daily demonstrations at 3:30pm will take place during the week of March 21-25, and simple instructions are available beside the TelePresence system. Try it out for yourself – even just to say "Hello"!
The Library Learning Commons is a dynamic, new study space on Level 2 of the Library which supports collaborative and flexible learning, and provides research help, technology help, language help, and regular learning events to engage our learning spirits!
