Dr. Darwin Stapleton will discuss what he considers to be the major opportunities and problems for archivists in the digital age as they pertain to the education of a new generation of archivists, and as they pertain to the documentation of modern history.
Dr. Stapleton is a Professor of History and the Director of the graduate program in History and Archives at the University of Massachusetts- Boston, the Vice-President of the Hermann Albrecht Library of Historical Architecture and a certified archivist. From 1986 to 2008, Dr. Stapleton was the Executive Director of the Rockefeller Archive Center.
