Twentieth Century Religious Thought - Volume I: Christianity

The Digital Karl Barth Library

Twentieth Century Religious Thought brings together seminal works and archival materials related to key worldwide religious thinkers, from the early 1900s to the 21st century. Volume 1: Christianity includes an international selection of key thinkers’ works on Christianity, covering different theories, denominations, faiths, and various political and cultural groups.

The Library has simultaneously acquired a closely related database. The Digital Karl Barth Library is a comprehensive collection of works by the influential twentieth-century Swiss theologian Karl Barth. Contents are in both German and English, including the English translation of his most important work The Church Dogmatics.

Together, these two databases support research and teaching in comparative religion, theology, world religion, religion and law, and religion and politics.
