New E-Resources

The Library is pleased to announce this new resource to support research in literature.

Artemis Literary Sources (Gale)

Artemis Literary Sources is a search tool produced by Gale that allows users to cross-search a collection of three literature databases: MLA International Bibliography, Literature Criticism Online, and LitFinder.

The Modern Language Association (MLA) International Bibliography, a major database in English literature, indexes books, articles and dissertations published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. The Bibliography provides coverage from 1926 to the present.*

Literature Criticism Online is an authoritative compilation of literary commentary, both scholarly and popular, from across the centuries. The online format reproduces the exact look and feel of the print originals. Users can save, print and download results as PDF documents.

LitFinder is a collection of primary literature in English. It contains full-text poems, stories, plays, speeches and essays on the arts, science and religion, covering international works from antiquity to the present, with a growing number of in-copyright works.

*Please note that the MLA International Bibliography is no longer available through ProQuest.
