Archives of Human Sexuality and Identity: LGBTQ History and Culture Since 1940

With material drawn from hundreds of institutions and organizations, the documents in this database present important aspects of LGBTQ life in the second half of the twentieth century and beyond. A particular highlight is the unique collection of newsletters, newspapers, and periodicals by, for, and about gays and lesbians.

These archival materials will be of use to scholars of gender and LGBTQ studies, civil and human rights, journalism, social movements, and more.

This database is integrated into Artemis Primary Sources, allowing users to cross-search other Gale databases to which the Library provides access.
