This Chinese language corpus is a rare endeavour to track frequency and proximity of words and terms, and joins its English counterpart of United States and Hong Kong political speeches as an open multi-disciplinary digital resource. http://digital.lib.hkbu.edu.hk/corpus/
Combining full text of chief executives’ and governors’ policy addresses (Hong Kong), presidents’ speeches (Taiwan) and premiers’ annual Reports on the Works of Government (People’s Republic of China), this Chinese language corpus addition, provides a trove of word frequency data for linguists, historians and sinologists.
