The Associated Press (AP) is a not-for-profit news agency based in New York City. In partnership with Gale, previously unseen materials have been digitized, with the goal of delivering the stories behind the headlines.
This resulting collection of primarily 20th century materials includes actual wire copy (often with editor/field notes), personal papers of reporters and photographers, oral histories provided by AP staff, photos, and video footage.
The archive will be of tremendous interest to journalism scholars, as well as to those studying any aspect of the 20th century.
Trial access will expire on 30 April, 2018.
