HKBU Library Behind the Scenes Series: Storage

Following our previous post, the next storage site that we'd like to highlight is the RRS Storage located at the Ho Sin Hang Campus. Thread-bound books and some of the bound items live there.

Usually, staff will collect the requested item(s) once a day.

HKBU Library Behind the Scenes Series: Storage

Space is at a premium in Hong Kong. Besides using compact shelves, we also use close /off-site storage as a solution to free up valuable library space for learning and studying uses.

In total, we have three such storage facilities 😃.

Highlighted first is our In-Storage collections located on Level 1 in the Main Library. During counter service hours, staff will help users to get item(s) upon request within 30 minutes.

We will share info about the other two locations over the weekend 😄 Stay tuned!
