As part of efforts to reduce the spread of novel coronavirus in the community, special opening arrangements are in place for HKBU Library. These arrangements have been extended to 1 March.
The Main Library, the Chinese Medicine Library, and the Shek Mun Campus Library will open with reduced opening hours and services.
Opening hours of the Main Library will be as follows:
Mon-Fri: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sun: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Opening hours of the Chinese Medicine Library and Shek Mun Campus Library will be as follows:
Mon-Fri: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The User Services Counter at all libraries will open Mon-Fri from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
At the Main Library, a self-checkout service is provided for all loanable materials on the shelves (including multimedia materials).
The HKALL service is currently suspended.
Overdue fines will be waived until further notice. Items ready for pick up will similarly be held until further notice.
The opening arrangements for the Library are under constant review. Please check the Library website for the latest announcement before visiting the Library.
For real-time assistance with any research enquiries, please make use of our online services including WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. We now also offer a Virtual Information Desk on weekdays between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
