ORCID in the News
ARC Australian Research Council
announces Support for ORCID

The Australian research sector has released a formal statement encouraging funding applicants to have an ORCID identifier. Jointly issued by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and the Australian Research Council (ARC), this is further evidence of ORCID establishing itself as the global standard for researcher identifiers.

RGC-funded publications :
Public Access Requirements

In order to ensure wide dissemination of publicly-funded research, the Research Grants Council (RGC) requires that

All publications resulting from certain types of RGC funding be made available for public access

This includes research funded from the
General Research Fund (GRF)

If the publisher of your article doesn’t allow public (open) access to the published version, the best way to meet this requirement is to deposit the post-peer review manuscript of your paper into the HKBU Institutional Repository.

Send your manuscript to repository@hkbu.edu.hk and we will take care of the rest !
