Under the terms of the Library’s contractual agreements with publishers, access to subscribed e-resources is restricted to eligible HKBU students, faculty, and staff.
Eligible users can easily access subscribed e-resources by entering your My Library Account information when prompted. Authentication is required regardless of whether you are on-campus or off-campus.

Access for graduates
HKBU graduates are eligible to subscribe to an optional service plan that provides access to selected e-resources. For details, please refer to the relevant web page:
Access for Adjunct Professors and Honorary Associates
Adjunct Professors and University Honorary Associates are eligible for e-resource access if they are currently responsible for either teaching a credit-bearing course OR serving as supervisor for a research postgraduate thesis project. Access to e-resources in these cases is not automatically provided and must be requested via the academic department concerned. Please contact the Library’s User Services team (libcir@hkbu.edu.hk, 3411-7444) for details.
Walk-in users
All Library users (including guests with special entry permission) may access all of the Library’s subscribed electronic resources using Library workstations onsite. Please approach the User Services Counter for assistance.
