Under the terms of the Library’s contractual agreements with publishers, access to subscribed e-resources is restricted to eligible HKBU students, faculty, and staff.
Eligible users can easily access subscribed e-resources by entering your My Library Account information when prompted. Authentication is required regardless of whether you are on-campus or off-campus.
Should you have any enquiries about your account information or your eligibility to access e-resources, feel free to Ask a Librarian.
Access for graduates and retired staff
HKBU graduates and Retired Staff Members are eligible to subscribe to an optional service plan that provides access to selected e-resources. For details, please refer to the relevant web pages:
Access for Adjunct Professors and Honorary Associates
Adjunct Professors and University Honorary Associates are eligible for e-resource access if they are currently responsible for either teaching a credit-bearing course OR serving as supervisor for a research postgraduate thesis project. Access to e-resources in these cases is not automatically provided and must be requested via the academic department concerned. Please contact the Library’s User Services team (firstname.lastname@example.org, 3411-7444) for details.
All Library users (including guests with special entry permission) may access all of the Library’s subscribed electronic resources using Library workstations onsite. Please approach the Information Desk for assistance.
