Temporary Change to Main Library Entrance Access (27–30 July 2026)

The Main Library Entrance will be temporarily closed for glass door repairs from 27 July to 30 July 2026. During this period, access through the main entrance will not be available. All library users are requested to use the exit door located in the Lift No. 4 lobby on Level 3 as the temporary entrance and exit.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

The Library has collected a series of travel posters by the French artist Georges Mathieu. In 1966, he was commissioned by Air France to design travel posters in which he used symbols to represent the uniqueness of the countries. Optical illusions on the posters were a result of combining different printing techniques and different properties of printing inks.
