Alternative access arrangements for the Main Library on 24 July
The Library has been informed by the Estates Office that essential overhaul work on the fire shutter over the entrance to the Main Library will be carried out. This will require the main entrance of the Library to be closed as follows:
- 24 July (Saturday) from 9:30 a.m. until the work is complete.
While the work is being carried out, access to the Main Library will be through the fire exit on Li Promenade. Please refer to the image below for details of the entrance and exit flows. Directional signage will be provided.
Security guards will inspect library cards at the temporary station near the Information Desk. Patrons should follow the instructions of library staff and security guards on site.
