Library access restricted to current HKBU staff and students

Hong Kong Baptist University has put into place enhanced security measures for its campuses with immediate effect. Access is now restricted to current staff and students of the University only.

This means that eligible Library users that are not current staff or students (e.g. Graduate Borrower Card holders, JULAC Card holders, etc.) will not be able to access the Main Library, the Chinese Medicine Library, and the Shek Mun Campus Library until further notice.

Special arrangements for affected users

For eligible Library users affected by this arrangement, no overdue fines will be charged on items on loan to you. We still recommend that you renew items online if possible, so as to avoid blocks on your library account. If your account is blocked, please contact us via email (libcir@hkbu.edu.hk) for assistance.
