Temporary Lift Closure for Upgrades (20 Jun – 31 Oct 2025)

The lift in the Main Library (Au Shue Hung Memorial Library) will be closed for replacement and upgrades from 20 June to 31 October 2025.

Accessing Other Floors:

• Use the stairs if you are able.
• Need assistance? Library staff and security guards will help you access an alternate lift.

How to Request Assistance:

1. During Counter Service Hours:

• Visit the User Services Counter in person. Staff will take you to an alternate lift.
• Call the Counter at 3411 7444 if you need to return to Level 3 (Library entrance) or other floors.

2. After Counter Hours:

• Approach the Duty Security Guard at the Library entrance. They will take you to an alternate lift.
• Call the Security Hotline at 3411 7777 to request help returning to Level 3 or other floors.
