Temporary Change to Main Library Entrance Access (27–30 July 2026)

The Main Library Entrance will be temporarily closed for glass door repairs from 27 July to 30 July 2026. During this period, access through the main entrance will not be available. All library users are requested to use the exit door located in the Lift No. 4 lobby on Level 3 as the temporary entrance and exit.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

Before joining the Library online events (e.g.: UOW 3 workshops, Learning Events), it is important that you setup an HKBU Zoom account.

You should do this even if you have used Zoom before with a different account. For logistical and security reasons, you will NOT be able to join the Library online events with a non-HKBU Zoom account.

To setup your HKBU Zoom account, follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://hkbu.zoom.us and click the “Sign in” button:

2. Sign in with your HKBU SSOid, and your HKBU Zoom account will be created.
