Notice of Noisy Works in the Library (May–Aug 2026)

To maintain and improve our facilities, the following works are scheduled and may generate noise in nearby areas.

Overnight Library Access Policy Update

Effective 1 September 2026, access to the Academic Commons at the Main Library from 11:00 p.m. to 7:59 a.m. will be restricted to current HKBU students and staff only.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

Introduce several book classification schemes using at the library which provide an understanding of the library physical collection and effective way to locate books from the shelves

Facilitator: Mr. Wallace Wong (User & Information Services, Library)

CCL Status: Participants will receive a half credit for attending this Event

Note: In order to claim CCL credit, you must be online for at least 80% of the session (as recorded in the Zoom attendance report). Additionally, you must respond to a poll question that will be asked via Zoom at a random point during the session.
