UPDATED – Alternative access arrangements for the Main Library (9-12 June)
Update on 11 June 2021: As the installation work was completed ahead of schedule, normal access arrangements for the Main Library have now resumed.
The Estates Office has arranged for new name signage to be installed above the entrance to the Main Library. This work requires the entrance to be closed on the following dates:
- 9 – 12 June (Wednesday to Saturday)
On the above dates, access to the Main Library will be through the fire exit on Li Promenade. Please refer to the image below for details of the entrance and exit flows. Directional signage will be provided.
Security guards will inspect library cards at the temporary station near the Information Desk. Patrons should follow the instructions of library staff and security guards on site.
