Overnight Library Access Policy Update

Effective 1 September 2026, access to the Academic Commons at the Main Library from 11:00 p.m. to 7:59 a.m. will be restricted to current HKBU students and staff only.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

To maintain and improve our facilities, the following works are scheduled and may generate noise in nearby areas.

The Phase 2 project of CollabTech Commons (CTC; Level 4) will begin soon, and more technically advanced equipment is currently under planning.

To enhance and centralize software provisions in CTC, a comprehensive software review will be conducted to ensure the latest data analysis and prototyping software are available for all students.

As part of this initiative, the Data Analysis Room (DAR) will be closed effective 1 August 2026, and all related software will be relocated to the Computer Lab or Tech Stations. Thank you for your attention and understanding.
