Export saved searches and search history from your library account before 4 July
The Library system will be upgraded on 4 July 2022. Although the look and feel will be the same, behind the scenes the upgrade involves moving to an entirely new platform.
Saved searches and Search history in your library account unfortunately cannot be transferred to the new platform. If you wish to retain these details, you will need to export them. Please note that Saved records will be migrated.
What are saved searches?
When you do a search and click to save query, the search is saved in your account under Saved searches.
Steps to export saved searches and search history
- Login to your library account.
- Under the Saved items menu option, you will find Saved searches and Search history.
- Using the Export all to MS Excel button to export your Saved searches and Search history. The links will be included, and when clicked will open the relevant search in the library system.
You can of course recreate saved searches in your account after the system upgrade.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Should you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask a librarian.
