Notice of Noisy Works in the Library (May–Aug 2026)

To maintain and improve our facilities, the following works are scheduled and may generate noise in nearby areas.

Overnight Library Access Policy Update

Effective 1 September 2026, access to the Academic Commons at the Main Library from 11:00 p.m. to 7:59 a.m. will be restricted to current HKBU students and staff only.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

2 – 20 December 2024 (Mondays – Fridays)	8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Counter service hours: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
7 & 14 December 2024 (Saturdays)	8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Counter service hours: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
8 & 15 December 2024 (Sundays)	1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Counter service hours: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
21 December 2024 (Winter Solstice)	9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Counter service hours: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

*Note: Levels 2 and 3 of the Main Library (the Library Academic Commons) will remain open 24 hours a day.
