Relocation of Books with Classification [LC] to Level 4
As part of the implementation of Library of Congress classification (LC)*, all LC-classified items (i.e. books received since May 2019) will be relocated to Level 4.
From 1 August to mid-August 2019, a major collection shifting project will take place. During this period access to some collections might be temporarily suspended, and noise may be generated. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please refer to directional signage for collection locations. Should you require any assistance, feel free to approach duty staff at the User Services Counter.
*In a strategic effort to build an integrated library collection using a single classification scheme, the Main Library has implemented LC for new books received since May 2019. The classification and locations of other items shall remain unchanged until the launch of retrospective classification projects.
