Temporary Issue Accessing E-Resources and Workaround

We are currently aware of an issue that may affect your access to the Library's electronic resources. To proceed, simply click the original resource link a second time, and you should be granted access. You can do this by using your browser's "Back" button or opening another tab.

Temporary Change to Main Library Entrance Access (27–30 July 2026)

The Main Library Entrance will be temporarily closed for glass door repairs from 27 July to 30 July 2026. During this period, access through the main entrance will not be available. All library users are requested to use the exit door located in the Lift No. 4 lobby on Level 3 as the temporary entrance and exit.

Notice of Level 2 Washroom Renovation (16 May – 31 August 2026)

Please note that all washrooms on Level 2 of the Main Library including the female, male, and disabled washrooms are scheduled for renovation.

During the maintenance period the following services may be unavailable:

My Library Account
All online Library services that require authentication via the Library system (e.g. HKALL, Interlibrary Loan, etc.)
Remote access to Library-subscribed e-resources

OneSearch will remain available, but users will not be able to login to their accounts during the maintenance period.
