Special service arrangements
Due to anti-pandemic related changes to the Library’s staffing and opening hours, the following special service arrangements will be in effect until further notice:
Overdue fine exemption
For all borrowed items (including recalled items), no overdue fines will be charged from 24 January 2022 until further notice.
Book paging service
Paging requests for items in RRS Storage will be suspended. The book paging service for Main Library and branch library items will be maintained.
Pickup due date for reserved materials
The usual deadline for picking up requested materials will be suspended until further notice. This applies to all library materials, including HKBU, HKALL, and Interlibrary Loan items.
Possible delayed service delivery
This applies to various lending and circulation services, which include Interlibrary Loan, library service package applications, etc. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
