Termination of Octopus add value service
With effect from 3 January 2022, Main Library and branch library service counters will no longer provide an add value service for Octopus cards.
This is due to the increasing amount of cash being received. As University guidelines do not allow the Library to store large amounts of cash on site, the logistical burden of offering the service has become excessive.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Users may consider alternative means to reload their Octopus cards, such as the Octopus App.
