UPDATED – Health protection measures
Updated on 19 April 2022:
Additional measures to safeguard the health of the University community remain in force at the Library and its branches:
- Users are reminded that a face mask should be worn at all times when they are in the Library. Any user found not to be wearing a mask will be asked to leave.
- The consumption of food in the Library is prohibited (including in the Academic Commons). Vending machine service remains suspended, however, drinks may be consumed. Water dispensers in the Library have resumed operation.
- Seating has been reduced in all areas of the Library. Please do not occupy any study space that has been marked as unavailable for use.
- Only 2 people may occupy bookable rooms in the Library, regardless of the normal capacity of the room. To support the University’s social distancing measures, group gatherings in the Library should be avoided.
Security guards regularly check to ensure that these measures are strictly followed. Please follow the instructions of security guards and library staff on site.
