Research Readiness Self-Assessment (RRSA)

These instructions are for new 2019 HKBU undergraduate students interested in testing their research skills. The RRSA assessment instrument will score you on various aspects of information literacy, and give you advice on how to improve.


How to Enrol

Step 1: Go to the self-enrolment link

Step 2: Enrol using your HKBU email address and the enrolment key

  • Please ensure that you use your HKBU e-mail address when enrolling
  • The enrolment key is 1009806

Refer to the screenshot below for an example of how the form should be completed:

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the enrolment email

  • In the inbox of your HKBU e-mail account, look for an email with the subject “PIN for RRSA-HK”
  • Take note of the PIN provided in the e-mail, and then follow the link also in the e-mail

Step 4: Follow the link and enter your PIN

Click on the “Link to Research Readiness Self-Assessment” button, and enter your PIN. You will then be able to start the RRSA!
