One major challenge when writing your assignments at university is keeping track of all the sources that you have used and citing them correctly. EndNote is a leading reference management software that helps you organize your research and makes citing sources much easier. HKBU Library provides students with free access to this software.

 

Basic EndNote Workshop: Search, Organize and Cite

This introductory session will get you set up and show you the basics. Topics to be covered:

  • Search and import references from OneSearch, library subscribed databases, and Google Scholar.
  • Organize references in your EndNote Library.
  • Insert citations and create bibliographies.

 

Advanced EndNote Workshop: Mastering Complex Documents

This Advanced Workshop to tackle the following research challenges:

  • Customize output styles for various academic disciplines.
  • Insert and manage images and figures.
  • Organize complex documents, such as theses and dissertations.
  • Prerequisite: Participants are required to acquire those essential skills from our Basic EndNote Workshop: Search, Organize and Cite.
