Library Learning Events in Sem 1 AY2022/23
Learning Events aim to facilitate whole person education. A variety of topics are covered, including language learning, information literacy, information technology skills, and more. Events are facilitated by experts from the University’s academic and administrative departments.
Participation in our Learning Events is recognized under the University’s Co-Curricular Learning (CCL) programme. Depending on the length of the Event, participants will receive a half credit or full credit. Please refer to individual Event descriptions for details of CCL status.
Note: In order to claim CCL credit, you must attend the workshop. Additionally, you must submit the Learning Event Evaluation online form within the same day as the workshop.
🎁 Join Learning Events to Win Prizes!
Anyone who joins a Learning Event (listed below) this semester will receive an entry into the lucky draw. This means the more workshops you join, the more chances you will get to win!
🙎♂️🙎 Wait… there’s more! Join with a buddy to earn more chances!
If you successfully invite a buddy to join the same workshop as you, you will both double the lucky draw chances received!
ℹ️ Here’s how it works:
1. On the registration form, you and your buddy need to put each other’s HKBU email in the “My Buddy” field. Make sure the email is correct or else it will not be counted.
2. Confirm your attendance by replying to HKBU Library’s email. We will send you this email one week before the workshop, and your registration will be cancelled if you do not reply.
3. Attend the workshop together. Both you AND your buddy must attend the workshop in order to earn the double lucky draw chances.
