The Library is excited to announce that all HKBU students can submit their creative writing entries to the Long Story Short Award writing competition organized by Short Edition, the creator of the Library’s short story dispenser.
The competition begins today (5 October) and the submission deadline is 19 November. Short fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction are all eligible. Apart from attractive monetary prizes, this is a unique chance to showcase your work to an international audience. For more details, refer to the official competition website.
HKBU students are the only ones in Asia eligible to take part in this competition. Other participating institutions include Penn State, Carnegie Mellon University, and the College of William and Mary.
We strongly encourage all students to take this opportunity to express your creative writing talents on a global stage!
